Brought to life many years ago as an “entry-level class”, the bikes of today now have little to do with “street”, instead, they have been consistently “souped up”. Turbo engines, compressors and nitrous oxide systems are built in to increase performance. However, the power achieved in this way has to be delivered out on the track, which – at 340 km/h in just 7 seconds – is like riding on a razor blade.
